Shipping and Returns/Sizing Information

Shipping Policy

All clothing items usually ship within 2-3 business days. All leather products that Kettle Black makes tend to take time to produce. Most of the special leather products that are ordered on this site are made to order and are actually produced immediately after your order is placed. With that being said, please allow 1-2 weeks for most leather footwear and accessories to ship.

We ship using UPS Ground for all shipments within the United States and we use USPS for all International shipments generally taking 7-14 business days for shipping.

We offer FREE Shipping inside the USA for orders above $100, and FREE International Shipping for orders above $500. Otherwise we offer blanket rate shipping.  Inside USA shipping is $10 per pound, and International shipping is $25 per pound.

Return Policy

Items may only be returned if there is a factory defect or damage that has been discovered within 15 days of purchase. Please make sure:

  • Item arrives to Kettle Black factory within 15 days of purchase
  • Item is not worn, altered, washed or used in any way
  • Item includes all hangtags and pachaging it came in
  • Item was not on sale or discounted in any way

Please Securley repackage your item(s) in the same package it came in, along with a copy of your receipt and reason for return written clearly on receipt.

Please keep track of your return tracking number we can only keep track of outgoing shipments and cannot assume responsibility for incoming packages. Kettle Black will only cover shipping for resending a returned package if product is obviously damaged from the factory prior to purchase, and has been returned and received by Kettle Black within 15 days of purchase. Please remember all items must arrive to the Kettle Black factory within 15 days of purchase.

Refunds can and will only be made if the item cannot be repaired or replaced within 2 weeks time of return being received. No COD shipments will be accepted. Refunds will usually take 5-7 business days after receiving returned package excluding holidays and regular bank delays.

Sizing Information.

Kettle Black Boot Sizing Information:

Kettle Black sheepskin boots are true to size. They seem to fit just right. Kettle Black sheepskin boots are made (in Australia, of course) from Australian Merino double-faced sheepskin (that means the sheepskin leather on the outside and the sheeps wool inside are one piece, not glued together like some other brands.) If you have very narrow feet, Kettle Black recommends that you order your footwear to the next size down. Kettle Black sheepskin boots tend to fit more snugly than other brands because they usually include more sheepskin lining. This provides exellent insulation, which is well-appreciated by many customers. We should note that Kettle Black sheepskin boots are made to be worn barefoot often. That means that your Kettle Black sheepskin should fit snug initially because it will loosen up in a short period of time.

Kettle Black sheepskin footwear is only available in whole sizes. Since sheepskin will stretch and form to your fit over time, the initial fit should be snug but never uncomfortably so. We recommend buying your true U.S. size, or buying the next higher size if you normally wear a half size. Unlike sheepskin boots made in China (you have heard of most of the brands!) Kettle Black is made in Australia from genuine double-faced Australian Merino sheepskin. The wool is thicker, softer, and better wearing. At first, this extra thickness may seem snug, but the Merino wool will quickly conform to your foot with just a few wearings.
